Michelle Phillips, MS
Research Assistant, Neuroscience Research Center
Michelle Phillips is a research assistant at the Pacific Neuroscience Research Center at Pacific Neuroscience Institute. Along with her colleagues in Dr. Santosh Kesari’s neuro-oncology team, she works in the area of clinical trials research to develop potential therapeutic candidates targeting brain cancer.
Michelle received her BS in Applied Health Science from Wheaton College (IL) and subsequently earned her Master’s Degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. Prior to joining the neuro-oncology team, Michelle assisted in research conducted by the Department of Neurosurgery with Drs. Daniel Kelly and Garni Barkhoudarian.
She has a love for patient care and has an unquenchable curiosity for the brain and its functions. Michelle desires to aid in the advancement of neuro-oncology clinical trials and through this work, play a role in providing patients with potentially groundbreaking treatments.
