    Leadership

Many of our physicians and researchers are leaders in their respective fields of neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, neuro-ophthalmology, interventional neuroradiology, head & neck surgery, endocrinology, and behavioral health including psychiatry and neuropsychology. They are actively involved in teaching other doctors the latest techniques and trends in the neurosciences at national and international conferences and are involved in fellowship training and student education. Because of their expertise, our PNI physicians treat patients with the most challenging of conditions, including many with prior treatments and those who have been deemed too challenging or “non-operative”.

Advanced treatments for neurological disorders through research

We are working hard to advance treatment options for patients with brain, skull base and pituitary tumors, stroke, hydrocephalus, facial pain syndromes, cognitive impairment, mood disorders, autoimmune disease, and addiction through innovative research, clinical trials and tumor genetic profiling. For example, within our Brain Tumor and Pituitary Disorders Centers, our physicians have an extensive publication track record on many aspects of brain, skull base and pituitary tumor care and research, demonstrating their long-term commitment to improving outcomes with these challenging problems.
