Rosangelica serves as the Surgery Coordinator for the Adult and Pediatric Cochlear Implant Program at Pacific Neuroscience Institute. Rosangelica’s role in the Cochlear Implant Program is to plan and coordinate intra-operative care for patients undergoing surgical intervention. This includes verifying eligibility and benefits with insurance, communicating with the operating room staff to ensure all instruments and room is available, communicating with the different manufacturers to make sure all equipment is delivered in time, and ensuring that the surgery process goes as smoothly as possible. As each patient is different, Rosangelica works closely with the surgeon, operating room staff, insurance, manufacturer, and patient to provide patient-centered care. She is dedicated to serving the community and strives to advance her patients’ quality of life.
