Natasha Cueto is a Nurse Practitioner, board-certified in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, specializing in neurosurgery. She is committed to providing patients and their support system with the upmost care and respect at the Pacific Neuroscience Institute’s Brain Tumor, Pituitary Disorders, Hydrocephalus, and Facial Pain Centers by utilizing the knowledge and tools she has acquired over the years as a nurse.
Natasha obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the California State University of Long Beach in 2013. She then worked as a critical care Registered Nurse in the Neuro-Trauma and Medical-Surgical intensive care units (ICU) for five years at one of Los Angeles’ few certified comprehensive stroke centers, Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. This is where Natasha grew a strong interest in the neurosciences as she helped collaborate and manage the care of many post-operative neurosurgical patients, and patients with traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries. During this time, she served as a preceptor to new nurses and hires in the ICU, as well as, a team member on the Rapid Response and Trauma teams. She also took part in the hospital’s Nursing Practice Council where she reviewed, revised, and collaborated with other nurses on hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care while incorporating evidence-based research findings into clinical practice.
Her drive to advance her career in nursing continued and she received her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of California Los Angeles, in 2019.
