Treatments and Procedures

Our expert team will plan your treatment based on your spinal condition, symptoms, degree of back pain or neck pain, and overall health. Whenever possible, we use minimally invasive procedures for faster recovery, less discomfort, and greater spine mobility.

Many spine conditions can be treated without the use of surgery.

  • Physical Therapy
  • Pain Management (e.g., epidural injections, nerve blocks)
  • External Referrals (e.g., massage therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care)

Motion preserving surgeries do not fuse the spine and preserve natural spinal motion. With the use of advanced microsurgical techniques, our experts minimize disruption to the spinal column while achieving maximum decompression of compressed neural structures.

  • Foraminotomy (Widens nerve openings)
  • Laminoplasty (Expands the spinal canal without complete removal of bone)
  • Laminectomy (Removes arthritic bone and scar tissue to fully decompress injured nerves)
  • Microdiscectomy (Relieves  pressure on nerves by removing displaced disc fragments)
  • Artificial Disc Replacement (Replaces diseased, degenerated disc material with advanced implants that mimic healthy disc function)

Fusion surgeries correct or prevent abnormal movements in the spine utilizing the latest technology including real-time navigation, 3D-printed spinal implants, and robotic assisted surgery.

  • Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) (Removes damaged disc compressing the spinal cord/nerves in the neck, fuses bones)
  • Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (ALIF) (Fuses lower spine through front approach)
  • Posterior Cervical Decompression and Fusion (Relieves pressure on the spinal cord in the neck, fuses vertebrae)
  • Posterior Lumbar Fusion (Stabilizes the lower back through a posterior approach)
  • Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF) (Stabilizes the lower back through posterior/lateral approach)
