Here We Grow Again – Expanding Brain Health Services in Southern California

by Zara Jethani

Pacific Brain Health Center expands to provide necessary services for more patients.

One of the features of Pacific Neuroscience Institute that patients appreciate, is the ease with which they can see multiple specialists, often in one location and often in the same clinic visit.

Pacific Brain Health Center Expansion Details

To double down on this benefit, there have been some exciting updates going on at 1301 20th Street in Santa Monica, CA, where the Pacific Brain Health Center specialists practice.

After many months of construction, the Pacific Brain Health Center has opened up additional new clinic spaces to accommodate much-needed growth and expansion of services.

Patients living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory loss, and other cognitive issues, can see their expert team of providers in the newly renovated suites at #150 on the first floor of the Saint John’s Medical Building. Balance and neuromuscular services are also located here.

The FitBrain gym is still located on the 3rd floor providing brain and body workouts for those who are patients at the brain health center seeking to slow cognitive decline.

Psycho-oncology and Addiction Medicine Services Move to the Fifth Floor

The fifth floor is now home to psycho-oncology services for patients and loved ones coping with a cancer diagnosis.

Addiction medicine services are located here as well for patients who have alcohol, drug and prescription medication use disorders. The fifth floor will also be the home of the Treatment & Research In Psychedelics clinical trials program.

The multiple sclerosis clinic remains at its original location at 2125 Arizona Ave, Santa Monica, CA

Movement Disorders Clinic Makes a Move

The movement disorders clinics have moved to this new space as well, with experts seeing patients with disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and cervical dystonia. This location is ideal for patients who are dealing with progressive symptoms related to the onset of dementia that interfere with activities of daily living.

But that’s not all! The neuro-ophthalmology clinic specialists will eventually move to be in the same location as their brain health colleagues. Research and novel tests of vision will soon have the ability to assess changes in the eye that could be used as early detection tools for neurological and cognitive issues.

Virtual and In-person Visits are Available.
