Pacific Brain Health Center: An Overview

by Zara Jethani

At the Pacific Brain Health Center our experts in neurology, psychiatry, clinical psychology, and geriatric medicine care for a wide spectrum of disorders impacting brain health and wellness, including dementias such as Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss, depression and anxiety.

The falls prevention and balance program, and neuromuscular disorders program address conditions that impact physical abilities which have a direct correlation with memory.

Our psycho-oncology program cares for patients and their loved ones to help them overcome emotional or functional issues when dealing with a diagnosis of cancer.

The groundbreaking cognitive fitness (CogFit) program offers combined physical and cognitive training for brain cell growth and long-term neuron integration aimed at delaying or preventing onset of cognitive decline due to aging.

In collaboration with other PNI specialists, we offer diagnostic services and treatment options related to disorders including Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and brain tumors, as well as providing team assessments with our vision and hearing specialists.

Toward promoting healthy brain aging and brain fitness in individuals wishing to stay in peak cognitive health, we offer personalized interventions that include recommendations for novel nutritional, hormonal, exercise, and mindfulness approaches.

Given the increasing numbers of patients with neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, and the lack of effective treatments, the Brain Health Center is developing a robust pipeline of clinical trials and research with a focus on delaying and preventing onset of disorders that impact the brain.
