Go Gray in May: Brain Tumor Awareness Month 2024

by Zara Jethani

Knowledge is empowering.

May is brain tumor awareness month. This year, we advocate knowledge as an empowering force. Join Pacific Neuroscience Institute for a celebratory walk on Wednesday, May 29th at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. Plus, check out the myriad resources we have gathered for those living with brain tumor.

Raising Awareness for Brain Tumors

Our patients with brain tumors, and their families, frequently express feeling unnoticed, eclipsed, and isolated. A diagnosis labeled as “rare” or “uncommon” can pose difficulties, partly due to the invisible nature of symptoms and treatment effects on the mind and body. It’s crucial to acknowledge and celebrate the strength of our remarkable patients and their families. Let’s unite in the #GoGrayinMay campaign to honor them together.

Throughout Brain Tumor Awareness Month in May, we offer a range of educational and informative resources tailored for individuals with brain tumors and their care partners. Additionally, we are organizing a celebratory walk around Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, and we extend a warm invitation for you to join us.
