Hearing Aid Recycling Program

Overview

What is the Hearing Aid Recycling Program?

Give a Gift of Hearing

Imagine a world in which you can no longer hear someone say “I love you”. You can’t communicate with family and friends on the phone any more. You can’t hear your child laugh. Those who suffer hearing loss can become isolated and removed from many aspects of everyday life that we take for granted.

Hearing impairment and deafness are serious disabilities that can impose heavy social and economic burdens on individuals, families, communities and even countries. The World Health Organization estimates that 360 million people worldwide have disabling hearing loss. Yet, current annual production of hearing aids meets less than 10% of that need.

We have a solution.

Hearing Aid Recycling Program (HARP)

Pacific Neuroscience Institute Foundation’s Hearing Aid Recycling Program (HARP) accepts your generous monetary and device donations. We have partnered with industry sponsors to provide the necessary services to clean and prepare recycled hearing aids for a new life of use. Your support allows us to mold, fit and refurbish hearing aids for people with limited financial resources to hearing-related care.
