David Barrientos serves as the Coordinator for the Adult and Pediatric Cochlear Implant Program at Pacific Neuroscience Institute. David’s role in the Cochlear Implant Program is to track and guide patients through the pre- and post-operative steps of getting a cochlear implant. This includes scheduling, counseling, verification of benefits, communication amongst manufacturers, patient records, data collection, and device management. As each patient is different, David works closely alongside doctors, manufacturers, and insurance companies to provide quality and individualized care for every patient. Overall, David is responsible for keeping the program running smoothly and efficiently.
