About Zara Jethani
Zara Jethani, MSc, MS, MBA, is a marketing professional with a background in botany, molecular genetics, and marketing, and experience in the healthcare, biotech, and entertainment industries. In her role at Pacific Neuroscience Institute, she uses her knowledge to foster engagement throughout the communities PNI serves including the general public, patients, community and business organizations, and medical professionals.
She transforms scientific and other complex information into highly accessible educational content for the lay person and patients allowing them to make more informed decisions about new technologies and their treatment options when faced with neurological disease. She works with PNI physicians creating actionable materials and messaging to enhance PNI’s reach and scope within the medical and healthcare community. Through consistent branding and communications, she is responsible for strengthening and diseminating PNI’s reputation, and reinforcing the institute as a neurological center of excellence.
In addition, Zara is an accomplished graphic designer with clients in numerous industries including healthcare, education, and entertainment. As the principal of Laasya Design, she creates print, digital, website, and presentation graphics for clients including The Walt Disney Company, The Hollywood Reporter, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The creative professional site Thumbtack awarded Laasya Design Best of the Year Awards two years in a row and rated it as one of the top graphic design firms in Los Angeles. Zara is an artist who has illustrated a botany text book, and who has exhibited her work, including a solo show, at local community art galleries. She has authored a children’s book and a novel.
Prior to joining PNI, Zara directed and implemented graphic design for Providence Saint John’s Health Center’s marketing department and was Market Research Manager for Oncology New Products at Amgen.
