About Dr. Takasumi
Dr. Takasumi has been on the staff at Providence Saint John’s Health Center since 2000. She completed medical school at Tufts University in 1995, her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1999, and a surgical and tumor pathology fellowship at the University of Southern California in 2000. With subspecialty interest in neuropathology and skull base tumors, she undertook additional specialized neuropathology training at UCLA in 2007 and has headed the Neuropathology Section in the Pathology Department at Providence Saint John’s since then. Dr. Takasumi is a regular participant in our monthly BTC Case Conference, and actively participates in our neurosurgery fellowship training.
