FitBrain

Fitbrain

FitBrain is a unique program that combines simultaneous brain and body training through a technique referred to as “dual-tasking,” while leveraging cutting-edge technology. The program also integrates the concept of “exergaming,” a methodology that involves utilizing bodily movements to participate in games designed to target a range of cognitive abilities, including attention, memory, and processing speed.

The efficacy of both exergaming and dual-tasking has been substantiated by research, showing their impact on various aspects of cognition, such as processing speed and executive functions, as well as enhancements in balance, mood, and walking capabilities. This impact has been observed in older adults both with and without cognitive impairments, encompassing conditions like mild cognitive impairment, dementia, and even Parkinson’s Disease.

FitBrain sessions can be conducted either in-person or virtually through available video conference platforms, using proprietary brain games developed specifically for the program. These sessions typically span 60 minutes and are meticulously tailored to each individual’s distinct cognitive and physical objectives. Furthermore, FitBrain offers group sessions through different programs such as Memory Care or Memory Marathon, alongside the option for standalone virtual groups.
