Our Team

A team you can trust

Psychedelic-assisted therapy is not for everyone and carries some risks. Like a surgical procedure, to be safe and effective, it requires a dedicated, experienced and compassionate team to help you prepare and build fortitude for the psychedelic journey, to be by your side during that journey, and to support you during the integration process in the days and weeks that follow. Our TRIP team led by Dr. Keith Heinzerling has extensive experience in providing psychedelic-assisted therapy and in conducting clinical trials. We are here to support you through this process as you explore your innermost core issues and problems helping you maximize the chances of an emotional and spiritual breakthrough. Our compassionate, experienced medical team is one that you can trust.

Safe, compassionate care with an experienced team

Our multi-specialty team of experts ensure a safe experience around psychedelic-assisted therapy.

  • The clinic is staffed by two physicians (internal medicine/addiction medicine and psychiatry), three lead therapist/ psychedelic facilitators, multiple affiliated clinician psychedelic co-facilitators, medical assistants, front office staff, research coordinators and research assistants.
  • Five lead physician/therapist/facilitators have completed the year-long psychedelic therapy certificate program at California Institute of Integral Studies and have hands-on experience treating patients in psychedelic clinical trials.
  • The staff and resources needed to support the required regulatory monitoring (IRB, FDA, DEA, RAP-C, quality assurance) are available within the Pacific Brain Health Center.
