Pacific Head & Neck Cancer Center
Compassionate Care by Leading Head & Neck Specialists
At Pacific Neuroscience Institute’s Head & Neck Clinic, we provide expert, compassionate care for patients with cancers affecting the head and neck. Our dedicated team of specialists uses a multidisciplinary, team-based approach that places patient quality of life at the forefront of every decision.
Our specialized surgical practice allows each surgeon to bring advanced training and deep experience in managing their focus areas of complex head and neck cancers. From tumors in the mouth, tongue, throat, and sinuses to those at the skull base or thyroid, we treat a broad range of conditions across this intricate region.
Because no two cases are the same, we prioritize patient-centered decision making. Whether surgery, radiation, chemotherapy—or a combination—is the best course of action, we collaborate closely with our patients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving the best possible outcomes.
Head and neck cancers can impact a person’s ability to speak, swallow, and breathe. Treatments such as surgery or radiation often lead to changes in speech and swallowing. Our Speech-Language Pathologists support individuals throughout their cancer journey— before, during, and after oncology treatment—by addressing swallowing difficulties, voice and speech changes, and communication needs, including voice prosthesis management after total laryngectomy. Through personalized therapy plans, we aim to help patients maintain quality of life, improve communication, and ensure safe, effective swallowing throughout treatment and recovery.
