
Emmaline Mauritson, MPAP, PA-C, practices in the field of neuro-oncology at Pacific Neuroscience Institute and Providence Saint John’s Health Center. She completed her physician assistant training at the Keck School of Medicine of USC in 2022. She is dedicated to providing patients and their loved ones with compassionate, whole-person care.
She is involved in all aspects of patient care from initial diagnosis and throughout treatment, including consultations and follow up visits, lab test and imaging review, managing treatment side effects, and patient and family support. She serves as sub-investigator to several clinical trials. Her interests include palliative care, symptom management, and education. She created and continues to lead monthly support group sessions for patients with brain tumors and their loved ones. She is passionate about brain tumor advocacy and attends Head to the Hill in Washington, D.C. to advocate for issues affecting the brain tumor community with our country’s legislators. She enjoys precepting physician assistant students and taking an active role in training future healthcare providers. She is inspired by the resiliency her patients and their families demonstrate, and with the collaborative efforts of the team at Pacific Neuroscience Institute, hopes to contribute to breakthrough treatments for brain tumors.
