Renee Ovando, MSN, NP-C

Renee Ovando is a nurse practitioner providing care to individuals with vascular disorders of the head and neck such as acute stroke and aneurysms.  She collaborates with vascular neurology and neuro-interventional radiology specialists and supports the comprehensive stroke center at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center.  She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner at Loma Linda University where she is currently a PhD candidate conducting research on reperfusion and clinical outcomes after endovascular stroke therapy.

She is an active member of the American Association of Neuroscience Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, and the American Heart Association
