Patrick Stutz

Clinical Research Associate

Patrick is a certified Clinical Research Associate (Society of Clinical Research Associates Certified Clinical Research Professional CCRP®) for the Pacific Brain Health Center at Pacific Neuroscience Institute.

Patrick brings a wealth of clinical research experience to the memory care team. His responsibilities include completing the data management of clinical research studies, protocol related tasks, and administrative functions of the memory and brain health studies. The opportunity to interact with the gracious and courageous participants of clinical trials is among his favorite day-to-day activities. His hands-on experience in clinical research through the experiential learning opportunities at PNI complements his research focus and passion for healthcare and medical research.

Upon graduating from Indiana University/Purdue University – Indianapolis (IUPUI) with his BA, Patrick worked as a Research Coordinator with his alma mater within the renowned Indiana University School of Medicine. In his four years at the School of Medicine and IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, Patrick served as the Lead Coordinator on 3 randomized controlled trials, 1 nonrandomized feasibility trial, 1 app/tech usability study, 1 patient-reported outcome measure validation study, and 1 systematic review (randomized controlled trials of mindfulness for cancer-related fatigue). He has collaborated on over a dozen grant proposals, 2 of which were cancer survivorship R01 studies funded by the NIH/NCI.
