Physician Assistant, Patient Care, Neuro-oncology

Minh has been with the PNI Neuro Oncology team since 2016 and has played an integral role in the program’s development and expansion. She began her career in clinical research shortly after completing her undergraduate studies at UC San Diego and has since amassed over 15 years’ experience in research alone. Later she earned her Masters of Health Science at Duke University, the founder of the PA profession and the nation’s #1 PA program. Minh started her career in primary brain tumors at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University while also pursuing teaching as a PA Program Preceptor.

Minh has been engaged in patient care, helping patients through their difficult journey, and optimizing their treatment plan while maintaining a high quality of life. She not only provides medical care to our patients, but also serves as sub-investigator to several clinical trials, has published several research articles, presented posters at the Society of Neuro Oncology conference, and is intimately involved in the coordination of care to optimize the patient experience. Minh was elected by her Advanced Practice Provider peers at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in 2018 to lead the APP Council as Chair. In June of 2021, Minh was also selected to be one of four Advanced Practice Provider Regional Leads for the Providence Specialty Medical Group, where she helps represent more than 50 APPs within the practice. Minh has dedicated her career to oncology and brain tumors and continues to help grow the neuro oncology practice at PNI across Southern California in this new leadership role as Director, Neuro-Oncology Clinical Care.
