Melanie Goldfarb, MD, MS, FACS, FACE, is a fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon specializing in minimal access surgery for thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and neuroendocrine tumors. Every patient receives a personalized treatment plan, created together with the patient and physician.

Dr. Goldfarb is also involved with clinical programs and research for all types of adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancers, which is a specific field focusing on the unique needs, tumor biology, treatment and survivorship journey of patients ages 15 to 39 diagnosed with cancer. Her personal research field focuses on endocrine tumors, secondary malignancies, thyroid ultrasound, adolescent and young adult thyroid cancer, and cancer survivorship.

Dr. Goldfarb serves on committees for the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons, the American Thyroid Association, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the Society for Surgical Oncology and the Children’s Oncology Group.
