Anthony Arce, RMA, BSPH, is a medical assistant who provides patient support for Dr. Keith Heinzerling and Dr. Shanthi Gowrinathan at the Pacific Brain Health Center. Pacific Neuroscience Institute. He provides back office support as well as assistance with the cancer psychiatry (psycho-oncology), addiction medicine, and treatment & research in psychedelics (TRIP) program inquiries. Anthony supports patients by answering questions and providing information about PNI services, scheduling, medication refills and prior authorizations. He has over 10 years of varied medical experience including Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Infectious Diseases, Pediatrics, Hematology/Oncology and Minor Surgery.
Before joining PNI, Anthony worked as a Care Case Manager with AIDS Healthcare Foundation and also worked with the county of San Diego specialty programs for uninsured patients seeking HIV treatment and care. He graduated from Occidental College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Majoring in Biochemistry with a Minor in Nursing Public Health. Anthony’s long term goal is to become a registered nurse to further assist patients with their needs and goals.
