
Amelia Garrison, MPhil
Coordinator, Marketing & Communications
Amelia is an editor and digital communications specialist with a background in social anthropology, French, and art history. As the Coordinator, Marketing & Communications at Pacific Neuroscience Institute (PNI), Amelia leads the PNI blog, newsletter, and digital communications. She works closely with our physicians and the Director of Marketing and Communications to strengthen our reputation as a premier neurological institute. Additionally, Amelia supports projects at the Pacific Brain Health Center and PNI Foundation.
Prior to joining Pacific Neuroscience Institute Foundation, Amelia studied at the University of Cambridge, UK, Sorbonne University in Paris, France, and the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. She has worked in educational and research capacities at the National Science Foundation (NSF), The French Ministry of Education, The Huntington Library, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), and Outward Bound Adventures (OBA). She also served as the Deputy Editor for The Cambridge Student Magazine, and Contributing Editor for the University of Vermont’s student newspaper.
