Annie Heng, RN, BSN
Research Nurse Coordinator, Brain Tumor Center, Neuro-oncology
Annie’s role is to coordinate all clinical research investigations that are conducted at the Brain Tumor Center and Neuroscience Programs including clinical trial recruitment, consenting patients for tissue typing and other applicable studies, updating regulatory paperwork for the trials and oversee the clinical translational database, including metastatic brain tumors, pituitary tumors, gliomas, meningiomas, craniopharyngiomas and chordomas.
Annie graduated from USC in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing along with a minor in Gerontology. She was trained as an emergency room nurse and worked as a travel nurse before settling in the oncology research field. Annie spent 2 years working as a Phase I Research Nurse/Project Coordinator at University of Southern California Clinical Investigations Support Office then spent 8 years at The Angeles Clinic and Research Institute as a Clinical Research Nurse. Annie joined the Brain Tumor Center Team July of 2014.
