Dr. Santosh Kesari and colleagues explore attacking Glioblastoma differently

June 2017: This paper in Nature Neuroscience provides a possible explanation for the failure of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibition therapy in Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM). GBM cells survive by side-stepping EGFR attack and pumping up tumor necrosis factor (TNF) production. Targeting both pathways could aid in GBM treatment.
