Endoscopic Ventricular Biopsy

Patients with tumors or masses in the ventricles or surrounding structures like the pineal gland may benefit with an endoscopic biopsy of the lesion.

The biopsy, or Endoscopic Intraventricular Surgery, can be approached through the ventricles and performed along with an ETV. These biopsies can help avoid a larger operation or a blind needle biopsy.
